Update #4: Knitwear-only orders fulfilling, hoodies and tees on a boat, bags wrapping up

We opted not to post yesterday out of principle (big April Fools haters over here) but also we kinda forgot. Sorry! 🫣
Last update we mentioned the potential for an off-schedule update for knitwear-only orders if we could get everything together before the regularly scheduled update. Well, we didn't get everything together before March ended because we've been super busy over at Carmico HQ, but we will be shipping knitwear-only orders (including non-Stardust items that were in-stock when you purchased) in the coming week or so!
Action required for orders NOT containing the Boxy Hoodies, Cap-Sleeved Tees, and/or Modular Tote Purses:
Please update your address before April 10th at 10am EST. Fulfillment will begin shortly after.
Thankfully we're only a little behind on the knitwear because of some very exciting things happening at Carmico!
We just transitioned to a new fulfillment partner who will improve on many aspects of the Carmico shipping experience. It will be hard to tell the difference for your pre-orders, but going forward, orders will ship faster, deliver faster, the return process will be smoother, and maybe (maybe) we'll see some shipping cost reductions.

And on top of all that, we also got the keys to our new studio! We took an amazing opportunity for a space in our hometown, Guelph Ontario to open up a physical studio equipped with better photography equipment and retail potential. We'll be delivering more aesthetic content, expanding Carmico's company culture, and offering an event and shopping space for those in the area.
Needless to say, it's been busy, but all for good reasons. <3
Regarding the non-knitwear items, hoodies and tees are production complete and were just loaded onto a vessel yesterday. They should arrive at our fulfillment partners by the end of April. Next update should be some exciting news for anyone who ordered a hoodie or tee! Bags are still in production but are on track for our initial estimate. We'll have a confirmation for bag arrival dates next update.
Timeline
As things stand, the schedule is still going according to plan. Here’s a reminder about the timeline stated in our kick-off blog:
Estimated Timeline (subject to delays):
- December 19th - January 2nd: Pre-order
- 11:59 pm EST on January 2nd: Pre-order closes
- January - Mid-March: Production (just waiting on bags to finish)
- Late March - Early May: Freight to our warehouses
- Late May - Mid June: Fulfillment (we're ahead of schedule for knitwear 🥳)
- Mid June: Pre-order Complete!
