Summary
Fulfillment times may vary based on the demands of the business meaning delivery times are subject to any delays, including but not limited to, launch volume increases, postal delays, or force majeure of which we are not responsible.

Launch Deferral
During periods of increased order volumes, we activate our "Launch Deferral" program. If Launch Deferral is active you can expect orders placed within 1 week of our launch date to be subject to fulfillment delays as our fulfillment team is processing large volumes of orders. Our daily fulfillment volumes increase more than 1000% on launch day meaning any orders placed around launch will take significantly longer to fulfill while we process orders on a first-ordered, first-fulfilled basis.
Pre-orders
Pre-orders are subject to delays and sometimes early arrival. Fulfillment for pre-orders begins when the Carmico fulfilment team receives the bulk order of product. The start of fulfillment will be announced prior so if you would like to delay fulfilment on your order for any reason, please contact us at hello@carmico.ca.
Customer Responsibilities
The customer must contact Carmico with any concerns related to the fulfillment of their order prior to fulfillment. Our customer service team will do their best to act on any requests before fulfillment but we cannot guarantee that a request made before fulfillment will be completed before fulfillment. If you receive a notification indicating your package has shipped, your order has already been fulfilled and cannot be changed.
The customer is responsible for contacting Carmico if they believe their order is lost, damaged, or has been delivered to the wrong address.
Customers are responsible for timely and safe collection of parcels that are delivered to their address. Porch pirates are on the rise, stay vigilant!
Additional Fees
Additional shipping fees may be charged if a package is returned due to negligence. This includes but is not limited to providing incorrect address info, failure to pay import fees, and failure to update your address for pre-orders.
Customs and Taxes
By purchasing from Carmico, the customer accepts any duties, customs, or other related import fees. Our warehouses ship domestically to Canada and the US. Any order that is placed outside of Canada and the US could be subject to customs fees. Customs can sometimes come as a shock so it's important to know how your government handles imported goods. Visit your local government's website to find out more. If you can't find information about customs fees, contact us and we will assist you as best as we can.
Failure to Pay Customs Charges
If you choose not to pay customs charges on a package, it could be returned to us or destroyed. We reserve the right to deny refunds for orders where failure to pay customs results in the destruction of package contents. If the package is returned to us, we reserve the right to deny refunds on the shipping costs or deduct the regional shipping cost from your total refund if you received free shipping.
