Update #3: Production Underway, Minor Sourcing Delay
Hello Stargazers!
We have a brief update for you today as promised.
Our main cut and sew manufacturer, which produces mini tees, joggers, and bandanas, submitted the bulk order to their partner fabric mill last week. It took a few more days than expected to negotiate fabric orders due to some restraints with custom dies and low order quantities for one of the items.
This shouldn’t affect the originally estimated timeline, we just like to be as transparent as possible! If there are no further delays, the next update should be about production wrap-up or, if we’re lucky, sea freight.
Stargazer Sweaters started production on March 20th and are well underway. Knitwear is fortunately not subject to the limitations that "cut and sew" items are. Where most cut and sew manufacturers must order bolts of fabric from fabric mills, knitwear manufacturers typically have yarn at the ready. We use in-stock yarn colours for Stargazer Sweaters, so as soon as we hit the go button, the spools start spinning!
Next Update
Unless there is a major supply chain disruption, the next update will be on the first Wednesday of May, the 7th.
